Kenya recently celebrated 59 years of self-rule in an elaborate event which was also the last public holiday being presided over by President Uhuru Kenyatta. At the event, he numerated the successes of his government over the last 10 years and his hope for the future administration. This past Sunday, I was on  Johannesburg’s Power 98.7 FM with   Nhlanhla Sehuma reflecting on Kenya’s post-independent journey and the coming presidential elections.
